A general purpose 2-dimensional CAD program. It supports industry standard DWG/DXF drawing formats. With A9CAD you can draw shapes such as line, rectangle, circle, poly-line, text and dimension; performing drawing modifications like move, scale, rotate, explode, trim, fillet and mirror; edit color, fill mode, line type and line width; change entity attributes via properties window. Manage drawing styles and settings and configure drawing environments.

Version 2.2.1 includes minor bug fixes.

FreewareFiles tested A9CAD v 2.2.1 on 2005-04-08 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: Nice, stripped down AutoCAD clone -- great for beginners. Unfortunately, some features (polyline arc, and fillet) simply do not work. No mention of it in the "known issues" section of the (also sparse) help file.
