Flash plays small, fast multimedia buttons, as well as interactive animations, flying logos, and graphics created in Macromedia Flash. This player is very small, takes only a short time to download, and is a great starting point for experiencing multimedia on the Web. Flash also supports high-fidelity MP3 streaming audio, text entry fields, interactive interfaces, and more. All Flash formats can be viewed with this latest release.

Works with: Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape and Opera.

Pros:  Adobe Flash Player 11.1 series performing nicely here with Windows XP SP3, on Firefox as well as on IE. And the computer is old, though mighty :) S. Jobs (RIP) seems to have wakened up Adobe when he hit their pride ...

Cons:  None at this time.

Other Thoughts:  Thanks to FreewareFiles.com for providing the uninstaller linked to this version (every version has its dedicated uninstaller). Adobe claims that old version of Flash should always be uninstalled before installing new, but it's always a pain to find that dedicated uninstaller (often comes late), especially now that Adobe had modified its pages regarding Flash.
