Pros: If you want to convert Free PDF books for most ereaders you need to use Adobe. If you paid for books it would be reckless to leave them unprotected. Adobe moved ahead of the crowd on this one. Never had a problem with Adobe licensing.

Cons: A lite version would be wise.

Other Thoughts: It is not my default PDF program so I loaded it on my laptop. Not required to read PDFs as there are many free software programs that can do that part.
