ASE (Allegro Sprite Editor) is a program specially designed with facilities to create animated sprites that can be used in some video game. It lets you create from static images, to characters with movement, textures, patterns, backgrounds, logos, color palettes, and any other thing that you think.

Tiled drawing mode to draw patterns and textures.
Undo/Redo support for every operation.

FreewareFiles tested Allegro Sprite Editor 0.8.2 on 2010-12-09 using leading
antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form
of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated
version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: Makes a sprite! Free! Allows me to make a graphic.
Cons: Doesn't compress the graphic. Old style font.
Other Thoughts: Ok to be old style but I accept it is free.
