"Foreign language and wouldn't install"

Reviewer: -tgethen

Review Date: 2006-07-31

I don't know what the deal is with this program, but the "read me" file gave no hint as to the upcoming nightmare of installation attempts. I downloaded what was supposed to be the "full install" version of a zip file. The whole thing was in German. It appeared I was given instructions and maybe yes or no choices (hello - I speak English!), that something had gone wrong, that maybe it corrected itself, that maybe the program went to the proper (Programs) directory afterall, and that all was well. All was not well. Nothing was installed, or if it was, I sure couldn't find it. It wasn't in the Programs directory. I tried to unzip and install several times, but I didn't get quite the files that the "read me" said I would. Shady deal, if you ask me, and I had to go back a day on my computer in an attempt to get rid of whatever parts of the program might be lurking here or there. If this program is going to be offered to English speaking countries, an English version of a workable installation file ought to be provided!
