The screensaver can be controlled using HotKeys to change or select the current mode and behavior, or to take and save screenshots. It is simple to use, easy to disable (e.g. if you are watching a DVD) and fast-exiting. Version 2 includes improved modes and color selection - choose your favorite colors and modes. The Atomic Screensaver is free if you change your Internet Explorer start page to http://www.coolfreesoftware.com/.

FreewareFiles tested Atomic Screensaver 2 on 2001-12-13 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: Reviewer no 1 is a DikHead - obviously did not look into it with a brain....although it does state that one should change a home page, there is no reason to do so....the screensaver can be extracted from the zip file and run and setup without having to run the setup program at all....and from there, if needed, all adjustments can be made with ease. the graphics are fast and preety, it does what it says, it is a screensaver..
