BatteryBar is one of the most accurate battery meters available.
BatteryBar is a battery status meter toolbar that displays the status of your battery in the taskbar at the bottom of your screen. As you use your battery, BatteryBar keeps historical data on how fast it discharges and charges.
While discharging, BatteryBar shows the percentage as a horizontal bar, colored green above 35%, yellow between 20% and 35%, and red below 20%. It shows the time remaining in hours and minutes.
While charging, BatteryBar is blue to indicate charging, and displays the amount of time left until the battery is fully charged.
Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
What´s New in version 2.0:
- Time Remaining is calculated based on statistical history of your battery usage, making it significantly more accurate than Windows time remaining estimation.
- Added "Full Lifetime" to Tooltip, which indicates how long your battery will last on a full charge
- Added support for translations via BatteryBar.Translation.xml
- Added support for user settings via BatteryBar.Settings.xml
- Installer now supports installing on 64-bit versions of XP and Vista
- Changed BatteryBar to look like a Vista-style button
- Clicking on BatteryBar will toggle between time remaining and percentage view
- Clicking on BatteryBar will reload user settings and translations, so they can be changed without closing and opening the toolbar
- More detailed information is collected about your battery.
