bin2header takes any file as an argument and converts its binary data into a source header file for use in C/C++ applications. The data is stored as a character array.

Binaries and source code for other OSes available at Sourceforge.

FreewareFiles tested Binary to Header 0.0.1 on 2011-11-30 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: This program works flawlessly for me, there is another application with a GUI called "DataByte" by RoadKil, I have used for years that does the same thing.

Cons: The directions said to type the following at the command prompt. bin2header [binary filename] The actual syntax is bin2header [binary filename] [header file name].

Other Thoughts: A small update in the instructions to reflect the actual parameters would be nice for those who want to use it.
