Browser Refresh 1.7.0
Software Product Description
You simply need to press a hot-key to quickly perform refresh tasks. The ability to use the hot-key from any application allows you to make changes using such code editors as Notepad++ and Sublime Text. The hot-key works with any supported web browser, but you may also hard-refresh all other compatible browsers. Browser Refresh also supports multiple monitors.
The application works as a service in the background. It only displays a notification on the System Tray where its icon resides telling you that it is active and showing its hot-keys. The default refresh hotkey is
Ctrl + 1 while the default hard-refresh hotkey is
Ctrl + 2.
Clicking the icon gives you access to its options. It displays a menu from where you can select your preferred browser, change the current hot-keys for both normal and hard refresh, enable browser focus after refreshing, enable saving files before refreshing, read the quick guide, check for the latest updates, and restart or exit the application.
If you need to use Browser Refresh frequently, then you may configure it to run automatically when you start Windows. When you enable browser focus, you can switch back and forth between the application you´re currently using (e.g. Sublime Text) and your selected browser (e.g Google Chrome).
Alternatively, you may disable browser focus and display your application and browser in docked windows that sit side by side for real-time viewing of updates as you keep on working. However, please note that this option is only convenient if you are working with web pages that do not display pop-up dialog windows. Overall, the application is simple, smart, convenient, and user-friendly.
