Bytessence MPxConverter is the small but more capable brother of AMVConverter. It is based on the same code, but it now is compatible with both Actions and Sunplus players. The program kept features from its predecessor, mainly portable code, ease of use, speed and multilingual interface while adding extended conversion support. Linux download is available on developers´ website.

What´s new in this version:

• Made all the paths relative (settings languages and log) for full portability
• Removed the useless window color
• Fixed the video remove action mixing colours in the video list

• Added ´estimated time of arrival´ column so you know how much time is left until a video file is converted
• The video options you last used are now stored in the settings file
• The program now remembers the position and the size of the main window
• Different profile files can be now chosen from the Settings dialog
• Added splash screen upon startup (it can be turned off in Settings)
• Added the French Polish and Portuguese translations in the package
