Calibre is an e-book library management application. It is free, open source and cross-platform in design and works on Linux, OSX and Windows.

Calibre is meant to be a complete e-library solution and thus includes, library management, format conversion, news feeds to ebook conversion as well as e-book reader sync features.

FreewareFiles tested Calibre 0.8.38 on 2012-02-03 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: Great program. Love it. Thanks to the developers

Cons: The previous reviewer is right about the updates and it's a little slow even on my super fast PC.

Other Thoughts: A request; Smaller updates please? Not the whole program each time
