A small, open source burning application for Windows. cdrtfe is a win32 frontend for the cdrtools (cdrecord, mkisofs, readcd, cdda2wav), Mode2CDMaker and VCDImager. It can burn data discs (CD and DVD), Audio CDs, XCDs, (S)VCDs and DVD-Video discs.

Windows 9x/ME users: need working ASPI Layer (e.g. Adaptec ASPI 4.60).

FreewareFiles tested cdrtfe Portable 1.4.1 on 2012-02-02 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: Get the portable version on the authors site-small and writes some settings to the registry but they are removed when the program closes!

Cons: absolutly none

Other Thoughts: burns gapless audio cds,rips and does dvds-incredible piece of software-freeware files should add the portable version!
