Checkers 1.0 is a freeware remake of the classic board game. Checkers is a two player game that is played on the same board that is used for chess.

This implementation brings a few new things to the table. It allows for 5 skill settings for the computer player, and it also supports 2 human players.

FreewareFiles tested Checkers 1.0 on 2009-07-29 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: You can play it alone against the computer or you can play it with 2 people. And it has 5 different skill levels so everyone from a child to a master can find the right level of competition

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great Checker game to own , and it's free to boot.
