Description:
dlinkz is an instant, tree-view-style links/shortcuts launcher.
dlinkz uses configurable "linkz" working folder to store your links and shortcuts.
Show/Hide dlinkz using system wide hotkey ("Windows + Z" keys combination). When invoked, dlinkz shows on top of other windows and auto-hides after launching a link (you can change this behavior).
dlinkz does not consume constantly any of the desktop or taskbar space.
With a single click launch links (or shortcuts) to applications, web pages, folders, network locations and associated files.
Easy and friendly interface.
Saves position and size of the dialog along with the expanded tree nodes.
Functionality:
Drag & Drop.
Use WIN+Z or WIN+/ or CTRL+ALT+Z or CTRL+ALT+/ to invoke the DLinkz.
Hide dlinkz using ESC (or one of the key combinations above).
Clipboard functionality:
To access click "DLZ" icon on dlinkz window (or press F2). Go to "Clipboard" submenu.
Plain text - will create a temp text file, paste clipboard contents, open it with associated application.
Comma string (CSV) - will create a temp text file, paste parsed comma separated text, open it with associated application.
XML - will create a temp XML file, paste XML text from clipboard, open file with associated application.
Options:
Show application window on launch.
Execute with double click – use double click instead of single click for launching shortcuts.
Follow mouse position – DLinkz window will appear at the current mouse pointer position.
Working folder - location where dlinkz stores all the links/shortcuts.
