MythTV based on Ubuntu with XBMC added, and a 15 band Graphic Equalizer.
Am now compiling own .iso which allows setting up required Name, Computer Name, User name and so on.
Mythbuntu installer incorporated.
Using Computer Name, computer, and User name, user, will result in a fully set up system, tuned for Brisbane, Queensland. Name used is, Computer User, but this is not critical.
The extra setting up, using own details, is not very extensive, as all of the necessary commands are retained.
So with minimal setup requirements the user will have an excellent HTPC based on Ubuntu 12.04.
Will need user name, ubuntu, to start, no password required.
Incorporated script so that MythBackend starts even though computer is not connected to the Network. Particularly suitable for combined MythFrontend, MythBackend system.

Note: This download is an .iso file which needs to be burned to DVD.

FreewareFiles tested EeeMC 12.04.25 on 2012-05-18 using leading
antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form
of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated
version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected. |
