Easy to use free Bible Reader software includes advanced search features and 2 Bible versions, the American King James (AKJ) and World English Bible (WEB). The AKJ version is an updated King James version and the WEB is a modernized 1901 American Standard version. And also features Spurgeon´s Morning and Evening devotionals - one for each day of the year.

Requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.

FreewareFiles tested Free Bible Reader 1.0 on 2010-03-09 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: I found it to be simple and intuitive, unlike other Bible software I've used which I found to be difficult to navigate. I really liked the search feature, which can search for phrases or words (like Google). I highly recommend it!
