FreeCol is a turn-based strategy game based on the old game Colonization, and similar to Civilization. The objective of the game is to create an independent nation.

You start with only a few colonists defying the stormy seas in their search for new land. Will you guide them on the Colonization of a New World?

What´s New in version 0.10.7:

This is a bug fix release to correct some serious gameplay problems in 0.10.6. The only new feature present is some improvements to the graphics.

FreewareFiles tested FreeCol 0.10.7 on 2013-01-08 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.
