G Security is a simple and free tool for locking computers running Microsoft Windows. The lightweight utility will enable you to prevent unauthorized users from accessing your computer. You only need to press a few keys to set it to lock down your system whenever you want or during start-up, ensuring that your data remains safe. It even disables shortcuts like Ctrl+Alt+Del to ensure no one can access your system without the correct password.

The software has a friendly graphical user interface that is easy to use. The installer gives you the option to launch the software immediately and open the Readme file. The keyboard shortcut also allows you to start the application with ease at any time.

You'll need to configure the program during the initial launch. You'll need to enter and confirm the password you want to use to access your computer. You can set the application to prevent changing of the password.

You may include a message to be displayed on the lock screen and specify some miscellaneous settings like enabling logging, locking with hot-key, running at start-up and shutting down the computer after three wrong password attempts. Once you have configured everything as you want, simply click the 'Save' button. The software will save all the settings and start up.

If you enabled hot-key locking, you can press Ctrl+L to lock the computer. Alternatively, you can lock the computer by right-clicking the program icon on the taskbar and clicking 'Lock Computer.'

If the computer has multiple users, the users can set their own passwords and configurations.
