GPS Contacts is an intuitive application for loading data from a GPS device onto a computer. The software is compatible with different applications, including Microsoft Outlook, BaseCamp and MapSource. You may also use it with a GPS device like Garmin. It uses standard data exchange format, which means you may even use it with many other GPS units.

The software's graphical user interface is divided into several tabs for easy access to all its features. If you have MS Outlook installed, the program will automatically connect to it. If Outlook is not installed or it cannot connect for some reason, it will show you as much from the Welcome tab.

The Contacts Synchronization tab allows you to synchronize the contacts on your GPS device with MS Outlook. You can easily synchronize such details as full name, street address, city, state, country, postal code and phone number. Synchronization may take place from the GPS to Outlook section or vice versa. Other details on the GPS section include a comment, description, symbol, latitude and longitude.

The actions you can take are arranged on the lower part of the program window. You can add the selected contact to Outlook, delete it from GPS, undo form data, save contact to both GPS and Outlook or add to GPS. You may open either a GPX file or open Outlook folder.

In addition to creating GPX files, the program generates a report for any error that takes place, which you access via the Log Viewer tab. The Coordinates tab lets you view or enter GPS coordinates of the desired countries.

GPS Contacts is a portable application that runs directly from the folder where you save it. This means you do not need to worry about adding entries to your system registry.
