Glest is a free 3D real time strategy game, available for several operating systems and that can be modified using XML and a set of tools.

The core game allows the player to take control of two completely different factions: Tech, which is mainly composed of warriors and mechanical devices, and Magic, that prefers mages and summoned creatures in the battlefield.

FreewareFiles tested Glest 2.0.1 on 2008-01-29 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: Ive been playing this game for some months now and gotta say its mad. playability is decent especially for OS and with it still being in development this game has the potential to put the pay games to shame : )
