Hekko Virtual CD creates a virtual CD-ROM drive on your Windows PC. This allows you to make images of your favorite CD-ROMs and use them without inserting a CD into a CD-ROM drive.

Hekko Virtual CD: 1) improves the speed at which you access data, 2) stops you from having to switch disks in and out of your CD-ROM drive.

Use Hekko Virtual CD to easily access your favorite games, favorite music or favorite software programs. Since Hekko Virtual CD uses HekkoScan(tm), nearly *any* CD can be imaged.

FreewareFiles tested Hekko Virtual CD on 2003-04-18 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: works with most cd-roms and yes you can install and run games/applications from the image you create.

Cons: after a while it bogs down but all you have to do is defrag your hard drive

Other Thoughts: maybe a little less resource hogging would be usefull
