Publisher's Description
Index.dat are files hidden on your computer that contain all of the Web sites that you have ever visited. Every URL, cookies and browsing history is listed there. The file names and locations depend on what version of Internet Explorer you have. If you are running IE version 4.0 or above, the file name is "index.dat". Microsoft has not supplied an adequate explanation as to what these files are for or why they have been hidden so well.

index.dat Viewer reads the index.dat files directly. This makes sure that what you see displayed by the program are the exact contents of the index.dat files.

  "Yeh...It's ok...for a reader..."

All it does is read, or show you what is held in the index.dat file.Sorry, but it won't remove it.Other removers don't seem to work, as when you re-open this, it's all still there.Drop it and go with the FREE Index.dat Analyzer download.Your better bet.Use this in conjunction with 'Tracks eraser Pro'(serial key needed),FREE Internet Windows Washer,FREE Eusing registry cleaner, and all will be wiped, and you will get NO record in Index.dat analyzer of your Internet History,Cookies,or Cache,or Redirects.(RDRs)- Information indicating that your personal data/or surfing was redirected to a commercial website.Disable your DCOM,get FREE ID plus, and a good anonymous surfing software, or web tunnel. For more advice, see 'the Vermin8tors' many othr reliable reviews in freewarefiles.com.
