The Extension Manager lets you easily install new extensions and keep track of new extensions you download from the Macromedia Exchange site. It also helps you share extensions by automatically packaging and submitting the extensions you create.

Extension Manager 1.7 includes support for the new Dreamweaver 8, Fireworks 8, and Flash 8 releases—many new features have been added to support extensibility within the new Studio 8 suite of products. We recommend that users download and install version 1.7 of the Extension Manager.

Extension Manager 1.7 is also available in Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, German and Traditional Chinese.
