Makagiga is a free, easy-to-use, cross-platform application for doing a variety of tasks, such as text editing, todo listing, feed reading, and simple image viewing/editing. Plugins are used to implement its various capabilities.

It can perform file import/export, backing up files into a zip file, Internet searching (Google, Wikipedia), and more. The interface features custom colors, a tabbed view, and labels and comments for each file or folder.

Requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 or above. Get It Here.

Pros: Program is very speedy with very nice responsive GUI and the layout and functionality is great. A very nice and useful program.

Cons: Installing the program was a pain, I already had Java 7 RE installed and the program kept complaining that the main.class couldn't be loaded when trying to run the program from the start menu shortcut provided. I had to actually start the program from the application folder by clicking on the makagiga.jar file and it loaded up without a hitch.

Other Thoughts: Great program if the installation bug was worked out I would give a 5 out of 5.
