Media Player Classic is an extremely light-weight media player for Windows. It looks just like Windows Media Player v6.4, but has many additional features. It has a built in DVD player with real-time zoom, support for AVI subtitles, QuickTime and RealVideo support (requires QuickTime and/or Real Player), and lots more.

What's New in this version:

MPC: Save image/thumbnails now also supports PNG
MPC: Updated libpng to 1.2.32
MPC: Fixed playlist shuffle functionality
MPC: some minor changes

There is also a version for Windows 2000/XP available.

FreewareFiles tested Media Player Classic for Windows 98/ME 6.4.9.1 on 2008-10-06 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.
