"V1.01 - Um, it's pretty straightforward"

I was so intrigued by the previous reviewer's comments and the rather sparse usage "tips" that I downloaded this program to try it out. It's actually very easy to use...in the first column of the main window, click the "Pick Up" text link to open the tab with checkboxes down the left side (this tab opened by default in my installation), then check the time zones you wish to monitor. If the one you want isn't in the list, click the text link "Add/Edit Entries" at bottom right of the main window and add the time zone. Close the main window. Right-click on the tray icon, and the time zones you checked will be listed in the pop-up menu. That's it.

The main window has features that aren't immediately obvious. "View" at top left opens an options menu that allows you to change the program's look and behaviour. "All Time Zones" opens a tab that displays a complete list of world time zones. "Pick Up" opens the tab that allows you to select zones to display in the tray icon context menu. The "Local Time" column shows the times at the locations in the list. The "Time Gap" column shows the differences in hours between the locations in the list and your time zone (the program apparently picks this up from your system time setting). "Time Zone Detail" includes the Time Zone name and the offset from GMT.

One thing this program doesn't offer is synchronisation of your system clock to a time server, but otherwise it packs quite a lot of info into a fairly small package. One negative is that it uses around 5Mb of memory and 6% of CPU power on my system.

I hope this helps!
