"Best DIRECT MP3 editor"

If you want to edit MP3 files DIRECTLY (i.e. WITHOUT ANY conversion to WAV or any other format—and thus a loss of quality), this is the BEST (only?) program you will find to do that.
Ignore the comment by 'slick,' who clearly has no clue what this program is intended to do.
mp3DirectCut is NOT designed for editing non-MP3 format files. It is NOT designed to apply loads of fancy effects. It IS for simple cutting/pasting, applying simple fades in/out, and simple normalisation. In other words: all the BASIC editing you need. And I repeat once more, this is done WITHOUT any on-the-fly conversion: it works DIRECTLY on your MP3 files.
Perfect for quick 'top and tail' jobs, like those poorly ripped CD tracks which leave the two second silence on the end (!).
Yes, the GUI is a little unusual, but once you work it out (which will NOT take long), mp3DC is the "mutt's nuts" for quick-fixing your MP3 files. I personally wouldn't use anything else! |
