MusicWire is a free application you can use to easily search for and download MP3 files. The app allows you to search for audio books and music files from different places on the web, giving you access to over 100,000,000 MP3 files.

You can search by author, album or track name. You will have access to a list of the top 1,000 sound tracks and choose your preferred download directory. The application allows you to quickly search for music information on Last.fm or even search videos on YouTube.

Once you have found the MP3 files you want, MusicWire allows you to download them quickly. You can download multiple files simultaneously to save time, and you do not have to worry about registering before downloading or paying for the MP3 files.

The default output format for MusicWire is MP3, which is the most common audio format that is compatible with many devices, such as cell phones, car players and home DVD players.

The application lets you play the songs you download automatically. It also maintains your download history, which you may view or clear whenever you want.

MusicWire is a fully portable application that does not require installation to function. You can save it on a folder on your computer's hard disk or a USB flash drive for use on multiple computers, and you can configure it to save downloaded files on the same folder. It is also lightweight, being only 1.3 MB.

The application's simple user interface makes it easy for anyone to use it without difficulty.

"Broken it would seem"

Reviewer: -Dave P

Review Date: 2016-08-27

Pros: None at present.

Cons: Worked OK previously but at present seems to find the same obscure list of titles/artist, regardless of what's entered in the search field. Have it on all my machines and seems to be the same on all. Nothing comes up connected with my search, even testing it with such notables as The Beatles!

Other Thoughts: I hope the author sees this, as the app appears to be broken.
