Software Product Description

While you can open HTML files with any text editor, the content will not be easy to read because it will display every code used. Thankfully, you can use Mwisoft HTML to Text Converter to convert the files to text format. The program automatically removes all HTML tags and formats the files depending on your preferences. You can use it to convert one or multiple HTML files simultaneously.

Once you open the program, you can start converting HTML files to text without making any configuration. The user-friendly and intuitive interface makes it easy to convert the required files using drag and drop feature. You also have the option to browse for and select the input file.

You do not necessarily need to have the HTML file to be converted stored on your computer. You may simply enter the relevant URL and the software will extract text directly from the web page.

You will have the opportunity to preview HTML files prior to converting them, but you can choose not to show the preview screen under General Settings. The details you will get include file name, size and date modified. You can either insert or remove comments from the files and apply other types of formatting to the documents.

You can choose to skip text stored inside title tags or table headers, add a line under heading tag and create either ordered or unordered lists. Other things you may configure include automatically opening converted files in Notepad, opening output folder after conversion, deleting HTML file after conversion, including subfolders, avoiding overwriting of files and minimizing to system tray.

The program converts files fast, and you can save text files as a single output file. You may also zip the converted text files.
