Notepad2 is a light-weight, free and open source Notepad-like text
editor with syntax highlighting for a few commonly used languages.
It's based on the Scintilla source code editing component
(http://www.scintilla.org) and works on NT-based versions of Windows.

This app is really great considering it's disk & memory footprint. No sh!t/ BS attached. Does everything as claimed by the developer.
And ThanX to the admin team here for decisions like this. There is a reson this is not c|Net Download.com (where every craptastic thing gets listed under the Freeware tag). While you list all the best apps, you work sincerely to weed out the garbage to ensure the visitors security doesn't get compromised. Here in this place the Freeware revolution can truly be witnessed. Any person having their brain properly working will come here again & again after first visit. |
