Major new feature: You can select German, French, Italian, Norwegian, Brazilian, and Russian languages from the boot menu. The "Default" and "Live" options are both supported as point and click. I'm hoping this new feature correctly sets the keyboard as well. These languages where determined by the countries which download Parted Magic the most. A large number of my cash donors come from Germany, so I have a great interest in supporting this country in anyway possible.

• Major Update: All old IDE drivers were removed from the kernel. What does this mean? There are not going to be any more hd* devices. All hard disk devices will be sd* and CDROM/DVD drives will be sr*. This doesn't mean IDE is no longer supported, it's means we are using libATA to handle IDE devices now instead of the legacy IDE kernel drivers. All old fonts were removed, Droid fonts are used now. Work has started on a GTK interface for fsarchiver written by us.
