The PortableApps.com Installer allows you to quickly package your portable apps in an easy-to-use installer without having to write or compile any code.

This release provides bug fixes for some source files left behind and optional components in non-standard directories. No changes have been made to the PortableApps.com Format Specification with this release.

The PortableApps.com Format Specification and installer are now available for outside developers to use and can be used freely with free open source and freeware applications. Commercial use is available by contacting PortableApps.com.

FreewareFiles tested PortableApps.com Installer 0.91.1 on 2009-06-04 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: I tried the 1.0.1 updated version with "speccy", "Lingoes", and "RadioSure" portables. All failed after going through a process of answering 11 questions, some of which were technical and involved me looking stuff up on the net.

The App's publisher,
The App's homepage,
The App's category,
The App's decription,
The App's language,
4 questions about licencing,
The App's display version,
The App's package version,
Then error, failed.

one report just said no help.html in folder.

Radiosure even has PortableApps files in one of its folders???

It also failed on "Deepburner portable" because there were two exe's in the folder.

There should be a zero rating on here because I resented giving it one point.
