SkyORB is more than a simple star map, it's a collection of 6 tools including a 3D star map, 3D planetarium, ephemeris, search engine, sun clock and more.

Enhancements:
Developed since 2002, SkyORB is now entirely rewritten for better performance and user experience. Features resolution independance (480x320 to 1920x1080), HDR bloom and higher textures resolution. Now available only for DirectX 10 or better. Entirely optimized for DirectX 10.0 and 64-bit, "SkyORB 3D for Windows DirectX 10" is much faster to load and use than its predecessor and more stable as well.

Requirements:
SkyORB for PC requires Windows Vista/7 and DirectX10 Compliant graphics card, and does not work in any other operating systems or with sub-DX10 graphics cards.
