SmallStock (BETA) is a FREE lightweight application that will help you to track the market and manage your portfolio and alerts, it runs as a background process on your computer and brings you real time quotes at the most convenient way, a small scrolling notify window, just like Windows Messenger.

• Manage a watch list - Receive current stock data at any time interval you desire and on any stock you desire.
• Manage your portfolio - Add the stocks you hold into the managed portfolio and stay updated with your current profits / losses so you can make decisions without any delay.
• Manage alerts - SmallStock enables you to define various types of alerts so you will not miss opportunities of profits.
• Get one time stock data - Want to check a stock that isn´t in your watch list? SmallStock helps you do that in a quick and easy way.
• Share - SmallStock includes an export / import mechanism so you can export your alerts and share them with your friends, or just export all the data for a backup. This mechanism also lets you make preparations for the next trading day at your home SmallStock installation (e.g. by defining alerts), and send the data to your office SmallStock installation by email.

SmallStock was developed as a result of our need, the “working traders”, meaning people who have regular jobs but also manage a portfolio. Since during the day we are busy with our own work, we needed something that would watch the market for us, a single source to manage our portfolio, watch list & alerts, of course we could do that at a specific web site (such as Yahoo!Finance) but nothing is more convenient than a desktop application that runs on your computer and deliver notifications on time – no delays, and most important, the information reaches you and you don´t need to search for it!
