Speak Clipboard is free open source screen reader for Windows XP. It can read out loud the content of your clipboard in plain English. It is great for checking your spelling or grammar, listening to your e-mails or listening to article. It can read any text that you can copy to your clipboard. It can also reads well source code comments.

Requires: Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or above.

FreewareFiles tested SpeakClipboard 1.0 on 2005-12-20 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: All of our PCs have .NET installed, therefore we are not aware of the exact actions the program takes when attempting to install on a PC without .NET Framework.

Usually, if a setup program that needs .NET Framework installed and it is not present on the user's PC, the program will terminate the installation process. In this case, the program does not need to be un-installed as it was never installed.
