Publisher's Description

It is the on-the-fly encryption software capable of encrypting a virtual drive partition up to theoretically 16,000,000GB. You can extract and encrypt CD-Rom image files as well. The encryption scheme is pretty robust and supports AES128/192/256 and TwoFish 160 Bit Key.

Furthermore, you can use the DSA asymmetric encryption key algorithm so that you can take advantage of digital signatures. Using the public key encryption allows you to provide a public key that can be used to both decrypt messages you have encrypted and encrypt messages that only you can decrypt. Also hardware keys are supported. You can turn any media drives as a hardware key. Encryption backup tool is included.

Pros:  Nada. Zilch. Nothing.

Cons:  I found this software here, downloaded and installed it. WOW! What a beginning of problems. It looks like the author of the software used a whole horde of anonymous proxy sites to artificially give this scumware a massive amount of 5-star ratings just to fool people into downloading it. STEER CLEAR OF THIS GARBAGE!!! Use TrueCrypt, SafeHouse Explorer, Secret Disk, BestCrypt Traveller or some other trusted and useable virtual disk software instead.

Other Thoughts:  Okay, TXD-Secure Virtual Disk installed just fine, I'll give it that. But when I ran the software, an extremely bizarre pop-up informed me that my 'secure' virtual disk could still be mounted despite entering the wrong password and key. That was the first strike. Then, I tried to create a new virtual disk. All I got was an error stating my virtual disk, drive J, 'was invalid'. J was first drive letter available after all of my flash drives, so it should have worked. This software was most likely pulled because of the horrible reputation it garnered, just like my terrible experience.
