"Keyspy"

Reviewer: -Nikita

Review Date: 2005-02-17

My antispyware software determined one file from this app (SimpleDNSResolver.dll)as a Keyspy:

Type: Key Logger
Threat Level: Severe
Author: UtilMind Solutions

Description: KeySpy is invisible spy software. It is a keyboard logger and a computer remote controller.

Advice: This is an extremely high risk threat and should be removed immediately as to prevent harm to your computer or your privacy.

About Key Logger: A key logger program runs in the background, recording all the keystrokes made by a user. Once keystrokes are logged, they are hidden in the machine for later retrieval, or shipped secretly raw to the attacker via email or over the Internet.

Symantec is of the same opinion:

I'm not 100% sure whether it's true or not but I don't wanna risk.
