TrueDownloader is an open source download manager/accelerator with good features like Pause/Resume downloads, simultaneous downloads, segmented downloads for acceleration. Both HTTP and FTP protocols are supported , and it´s very fast ! You can even improve it or adapt it to your needs since it´s open-source. Some special features like HTTP/FTP Proxy support and ZIP previewing are supported too. Integrated flawlessly into Internet Explorer, Mozilla and FireFox thanks to the Extension Technology.

FreewareFiles tested TrueDownloader on 2005-03-30 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: TrueDownloader? False. It doesn't DO anything. Failed to establish a download connection, even for the simplest of jpeg files. Instead, try WinGet, or Orbit Downloader, both of which are available on this (Freewarefiles) website. Don't waste your time on this one.
