WinBITS is a small download manager that uses the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" (BITS) integrated in Windows XP / 2000.

Requires Microsoft .NET Framework. (Note that .NET Framework is included in Windows XP. It is recommended to update to the latest version.)

FreewareFiles tested WinBITS 1.0 RC on 2006-05-30 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Other Thoughts: Small, easy to use. You can choose installer included version or the unzip version if you don't want registry entries.
Handles download lists and you can give it to use all your bandwidth or to use the ramaining one while you surf, check email, p2p, bittorying and so on.
