"Simple and Effective!"

There is no picture basically because the main user interface is just a pop-up menu in the taskbar. The creation of macros is very simple. For example, to have text inserted into a program with a macro is selected, one simpy enters the following in the edit window (with the name of this macro, of course)...
["your text goes here"]
This example can be used for your name, user name, password, or any other text of your choosing.
To have WinKeySim appear in the Windows taskbar, simply place a shortcut to its saved macro file in the Windows "Startup" folder. At that point, simply right-click on the icon in the taskbar, select the macro, and then click where the text should appear in the document, web page form, or whatever. The text instantly appears where you select.
WinKeySim works with just about any type of program - dialog boxes in Windows, word processors, spreadsheets, email programs, and so on. In fact, after many months, I haven't found anything WinKeySim doesn't work with.
And, of course, you can have more complex macros than the example above. For example, if you want your macro to wrap text to more than one line, simply enter...
["your name[enter]your street[enter]city, state, and zip[enter]phone number"]
As the author said, if it can be done with a keyboard, it can be done with a macro. There are numerious examples to get you started.
If you're looking for a macro program, I strongly urge you to try this. It is entirely freeware, with no required personal info to the author, no ads, no "buy" nags, and no spyware (two separate spyware detection programs verified this). |
