By displaying useful information such as weather, calendar, news, stocks, and frequently used programs, it turns your desktop into an informative and productive work station. It also offers the option to boot to Metro Start Screen directly.

FreewareFiles tested WinMetro 1.0 on 2013-01-25 using leading antivirus scanners and found it 100% Clean. It does not contain any form of malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, etc. We will re-test each updated version and remove the award as well as the program if found infected.

Pros: the previous version, was lighter on your system. now is bigger, and slower. everytime you connect your computer, the program connects as well to IOBIT site, no warning issued, and is not noticeable. also, the previous version does so.

Cons: none, really.

Other Thoughts: it would be fair, to let the user know,
the purpose of the feedback they receive
from the unaware user.
