MikkoNSV uses Mencoder to convert NSV (Nullsoft Video) video format to other video formats, such as AVI. MikkoNSV is - in effect - simply a graphical user interface (GUI) for the Mencoder program.

You can customize your settings by altering the "mikkonsv.ini" file, or you may use the default settings (Video: MPEG4, Audio: Mp3).

NOTE:

MikkoNSV does not encode video per se. It merely provides an interface for the Mencoder program.
The download includes MikkoNSV, Mencoder and the VP6-codecs.
