ddcopy - Direct Disk Copy Utility. ddcopy is a file copying / file content viewer tool, it can directly/physically access any file on the disk.
If you want to view the contents of a file or copy a file to another location which is currently opened another tool (like some OS system files, malware tools etc.) you can not access the file with this error: “Cannot copy file: It is being used by another person or program…”
ddcopy directly accesses the disk cluster. You can simply select the file and copy or view file contents via the ddcopy tool.
