Thank you Ad-Aware! this program works very well for what it cost. I like most people do not use only one spyware remover, so this is a very sweet addision to my tools to protect my PC.

"Great, Never a problem"
This is wonderful software! I use it all the time, on my WinXP and on my olde Win98SE. It has always worked like a charm, never frozen up on me. Of course, I still use other spyware progs, because no ONE program seems to cover all spyware, etc. But, Ad-Aware seems to me the best overall.
One note: with the freeware version [which you can easily update from within the prog with regularly updated files] you don't get the AD-WATCH a resident prog that helps you block some incoming threats. That's a cool util that I used until my paid subscription ran out.

"Just ok"
I've run Ad-Aware a number of times. I have never been able to totally remove the critical objects. A couple of times I was at least able to quarintine them. I just ran it again and this time it identified a bunch, but it locked up before I good do anything with them.

This program is ok for a while.But then it freezes up after you go from the Quarentine and click on next to remove the bad objects.Why this happens,it's anyone's guess.I have tryed all adware/spyware removers,some say you have to buy to remove the bad objects,that sucks ecpecially when they say there free.

I have to say, I'm very impressed. Literally 10 minutes after downloading Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition, it had found 74 objects on my system. It gave me a definition of each, a full listing of their threat potential and a quick and easy way to remove them. Without a doubt, one of the best free Spyware removal products available.

great program my computer was so slow had 471 adware on my pc..adware removed them all for free!! my pc was like new fast with no lag aso i had 3 viruses that i could not remove with my antivirus once i ran adware and deleted all the adware i was able remove the viruses with ease on my pc great program a++++++

"Ad aware"
I had ad aware 5 for the longest time and I just did a run on it. Then I got 6 and did a run and found some new little bastards. Be sure to click that globe to get more updates. The program is very nice to look at and use. I just wish it had the scanning bar back so I can see how far it's done. I recommend getting spybot:search and destroy and running it right after ad aware. (I actually got ad aware and spy bot from thier sites, not this one) A MUST HAVE for anyone!
