Is possible a SHUTDOWN OPTION to close the PC after movie end's for "MPlayer for Windows"?
I'd be very happy to take advantage of this option.
MPLAYER is THE BEST EVER....
Nothing more is needed, BUT a SHUTDOWN OPTION. :)

Good question. The homepage says that KMPlayer is a front-end for MPlayer, Xine and GStreamer. So it's NOT a pure MPlayer GUI. I guess KMPlayer won't use the MPlayer engine for DVD Playback. It might use Xine or GStreamer for that purpose...

There are really only a handful choices for CONSISTENT, RELIABLE media playback:
- MuldeR's flavor of the month (this one)
-- the latest STABLE player core, front-ends, and codecs
- roll your own ffdshow and MediaPlayerCLASSIC
-- this requires time, knowledge, and skill
- CCCP-project.net
-- the vast anime loving hordes making life easy
- VLC
-- some annoyances
- only the ignorant and foolish use the OS bundled WindowsMediaPlayer
because this, like most of the above options, are built upon some flavor of ffdshow the output options are ALL under your control! Dark scnese? boost opacity and gamma to YOUR preference. Save as many output schemes as you please for those ahem TV xvids you have, or your DVD vobs, to your SVCDs, or God forsaken 'Real'media files.
