I would rate this software as the best - if there would be a rating like that. I used it for some time. The greatest and easiest to use. Great feature the picture preview. an essential tool in everyday work. Thumbs up! 10x goes to the author. GREAT JOB!!! :)

"All There--Almost"
From my first impressions using various functions, an excellent job of integrating different components and functionality. Would be extra nice if in addition to the hotkey selections that individual components could be started independent of one another or at startup via a switch setting, e.g. the excellent search capability. Nothing major but a nice feature to have.

Many things to like about FreeCommander. For a freeware program this is an excellent tool. Even has some features many "for a fee" commanders lack.
However, enhancements to the program would really help:
1. A Folder tab interface
2. Persistent/assignable folder types
3. Better thumbnail management. As currently implemented, thumbnail display is so slow as to be essentially useless or worse, a detriment.
4. Toggle for file viewer embedded in a panel, instead of a floating window.
