No! Linux can NOT run ANY Windows program. It can SOME using WINE. But these are few and far between. Linux WILL NEVER become the predominant home O.S. Just like OS X or other Apple O.S.'s
Even though I absolutely LOVE OS X.
Bill Gates is a wonderful man with a wonderful OS. Vista is almost as nice as DOS. I really love Windows 3.11 though. Had a beautiful GUI.

If you had a mind at all, you would know that any Unix-based OS is far more superior to anything Microsoft can make. And as for the "manufacturers not supplying Linux" Dell now offers Ubuntu Linux. HP is looking into offering Linux, and Microsoft is teaming up with Novell to integrate Linux code under GPL. And Linux can run any Windows program.

Great! Not! Now star Trek Armada 2 doesn't work because it requires previous versions of DirectX and now I hear that DirectX 10 will not be compatible with previous versions. So don't buy any games that require less than DirectX 10 and forget your old and favourite games.!!!!!!
