"is this trustworthy"
the june edition of web user states an 11 percent technical security risk with this program!! seems to be a lot of bad light shining on this program. by: stuart | 2 | 2008-07-06 |

"Do you trust this?"
I have been using Spycatcher Express. It is free and has sufficient real-time protection plus a scheduler. Most of all, it is trustworthy. by: Boris2008 | 1 | 2008-06-18 |

that might explain why my system ran like a dog when it was installed. by: stuart | 1 | 2008-06-12 |

"Reminder..."
I reviewed this ages ago.Found software called 'MALWHERE' detected and listed it as a 96% threat.'Startup mechanic 2x' may have picked it up and commented on it.'Start Up Mechanic 2x' may contain a viral history in its 'Harmful' section. by: The Vermin8tor | 2 | 2008-05-15 |

"Many Thanks"
Many thanks to Incey Wincey for reminding me why I did not install this program. The first paragraph was convincing enough, the third paragraph killed it stone dead. by: Ivehadit | 1 | 2008-05-11 |

"be careful"
not one i would recomend! the crawler toolbar does uninstall ok and you should uninstall it after installation as it will drive you mad after 30sec. other reviewers are correct about the realtime shield not holding its settings which becomes intolerable after sometime. it causes many problems when trying to install new programs and can crash your system and if you integrate the virus protection to the shield it gets very messy. its scanner is quick but again the settings always revert back to a daily scan. every time i started my pc it wanted to do a scan. its complicated to set up with many stupid options in your face and the options you require missing!! most magazine reviews dont rate it very well and some go as far to advise you not to touch it. i can only rate it as 2 as i didnt give it much time to properly check it out as i just wanted rid of it.. by: stuart | 2 | 2008-05-07 |

"fed up with it"
ive used it now for a short while and im fed up with it. other reviewers are spot on with the realtime gaurd not remembering its settings and this becomes a major pain. it causes my system to freeze all the time. the crawler toolbar slows down your browser by 20% apprx and must be uninstalled straight away. also found my system ran very buggy when using it which gives me concern. when i uninstalled it, my system was brand new again. very intrusive and not that user friendly either.. by: hoppy | 3 | 2008-05-05 |

"Too intrusive"
I have had this program before and it was better with the previous version, this version has way too many pop-ups and it keeps asking me to allow the same program over and over again, even though I check remember my answer. Another issue is that it does not seem to find any spyware at all,AVG anti-spyware actually detected spyware that Spyware terminator missed this program just finds cookies. by: Oh Yeah! | 2 | 2008-04-25 |

"very good"
set this up and ran a few scans and im very happy with it and will use this as my primary spyware program. its got good realtime protection with a clever integration of anti virus in its scanner. after a full scan it picked up two major problems with sv host and volume malware which avast seemed to miss. the full scan was the quickest ive seen ever. good bit of kit and worth trying for sure. by: hoppy | 5 | 2008-04-22 |

"looks good"
gave it another shot after seeing the reviews and ignoring the crawler licence and i have to say im quite impressed by it. gonna give it a go for a while and see what happens but it looks impressive for a freeware program.. by: hoppy | 4 | 2008-04-20 |
