This program is used as a compliment to your existing antivirus and antispyware software, not a replacement. It lists known bad websites in your hosts file, therefore not allowing them to open in your web browser. An excellent program, that uses no resourses, but of course, is limited to programs knowledge of bad websites. Check for updates weekly.

I wonder about somes causal relationship conclusions. And about apparent misinformation about what features this program has , what it does , and what it does not do. It's meant as a complement to existing malware protections, it doesn't "run" and it does manually update (for free). I happen not to use its Tools or Snapshot features. I set the IE and Restricted Sites and Mozilla tabs on main page, update it about once a week ,and, leave it lay. It's essentially an immunizer-type.

As the man said:"You need a key to get updates".Blocks numerous spyware,cookies etc,but not all.Can create a snapshot of your PC(with 2.0 and this?).Better to have a) a real time/heuristic version b)1 you can update or auto updates c)doesnt need to be installed but can run/ run hidden or not a resource hog...
I did have a couple of problems with it,long ago,nothing major.Oh, it kept coming up with spyware listings highlighted within in red(preset)and I had to keep re clicking and protecting every time i checked it...Painful and annoying so i downloaded and used v2.(Sorry for errors on 1st comment,wasnt intended to be written with rude contexts, keystroke error).

It only prevents from installing spyware on your pc it doesn't remove spyware at all. It's pretty good for preventing spyware, but not for me..

I also tried this product and it ended up deleting my startup driver to run my firewall! Also it removed other drivers from certain programs I needed!
