This is a fantastic filter. It couldn't be any easier to install, and it's very effective. After using it, I'm even more surprised that it's free.

Thia program has helped me out a lot. My teenage boys have been restricted a few times from the computer because of porn. Now with this program they cant get to those sights through browsers. However you still have to monitor file sharing programs (such as Bearshare-before I found out that I could filter on Bearshare itself, they could bring up images and movies of porn even with Naomi running) and it doesn't monitor chat programs.Also I found out that mediaplayer and realplayer can be used to browse objectable sights. Some things that Naomi blocks are not understandable, such as some gamesights but it is the best blocker I have found that is free.

Easy installation, requiring no configuration. Supports IE and Firefox. Any program that is being used inappropriately will automatically close. The only negatives are that there is no logging of the inappropriate activity, all IE windows will close or all tab windows will close.

Been running this on my childrens PC for some time now, it's truly outstanding. Can't belive its a free program.

I've been using this program for some time now, and very honestly it's the first one that does the job properly! It has password protection, and goes way beyond any "usual" or commercial program. Services are managed in a very intelligent way (no way to stop the process, relaunches itself automatically...).
All I can say : Try it!! It's easy to use, has some very good algorithms for blocking websites and other programs. And, updates are VERY regular (can go up to a weekly basis!! Not bad for a free program...)

I loaded this program on my 14 year olds computer after finding he had visited a few sites that made me quite upset. Face it our kids do stuff on the internet we can't see all the time. Thank you for this free filtering program. It really works, glad I could find a free program that keeps my son from viewing what is what I consider quite nasty images from smut peddlers.
